Implementing Simple Pieces

Fabulous fashion tip #1:  get the most out of those simple garments in your closet.

Casual class or sexy edge
A day in the park or a night on the town

Who says one item can't be worn as all four? This H&M tank certainly can! Don't be afraid to re-wear the same pieces over and over again. You can easily mix and match them with other garments and accessories for any occasion.

Classy vs. Sassy

Fast Fashion Fixes

Lets face it, we can't always take our sweet ol' time getting ready in the morning. As a college student who usually wakes up 20 minutes before class even starts, I've learned the tricks to getting ready in a record time of ten minutes.
Follow these pointers to looking fabulous, even on those days when your 'alarm didn't go off'.

Scenario one: You wake up late and don't have time to do much to your hair aside from brush it (if that).
Solution: The low side bun.
How many times do you see women flaunting this look at formal events? It's completely effortless and a perfect solution to 'bed head'.

Audrina Patridge hits the red carpet with an elegant messy side bun.
Accessorize with a clip-in flower or jewel headband.

Scenario two: Your looking for comfort without the sweatpants and t-shirt.
Solution: Leggings
Leggings are my 'go to' item simply because you can wear them with anything. Throw them on with a simple tee and boots, and you won't look like your ready to hit the gym!

Kim Kardashian dresses up her leggings with leather heel booties and a cropped blazer.

Scenario three: You want to add a little pzazz to a simple outfit.
Solution: accessorize, accessorize, accessorize!
Scarves are a perfect way to dress up an outfit this fall. Pair with a fitted jacket for warmth and shape.
Add a long chain necklace, bold earrings, and a chunky bracelet to complete your look.

Add a Little 'Umph'

Need to spice up your wardrobe? Do so by adding a little volume! These dramatic silhouettes have hit the runways of several designers and are likely to make a debut in your closet as well.

How to Wear
-When wearing voluminous garments, try to stick to one solid color or a simple pattern. A busy pattern or too much color tends to make the wearer look larger.
-Keep other garments simple. Too many design details can make an outfit look overwhelming.
-Wear with confidence!

Retail Brands THINK PINK

What could be better than shopping for a cause?! Retail brands have begun to Think Pink as Oct. 1 kicked off Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As a member of Zeta Tau Alpha (a sorority whose philanthropy is Breast Cancer Education and Awareness), the new lines by Urban Outfitters and Forever21 have been quite the talk of the house!

$10.80-$29.80

10 percent of the purchase price for Forever21's Breast Cancer Awareness line goes to the Susan G. Komen
for the Cure foundation.

Urban Outfitters tee was created by Young Survivor Coalition; a non-profit organization that supports breast cancer education and awareness. The tee was created in memory of one of Urban's own employees, Kristen Martinez.
